Welcome to Resource Equity Scandinavia!
We are a collective of young people with class privilege, living in or connected to Scandinavia. We work toward shifting power, land, and resources to grassroots movements striving for an equal, just, and sustainable world.
We do this by:
- Moving our inherited or accumulated resources to grassroots movements, organizations, and other actors that strengthen equality, sustainability, and social justice.
- Inspiring each other and others with class privilege to become bolder in our actions concerning the redistribution of our resources.
We are guided primarily by the urgent societal challenges and educate ourselves about social and economic injustice—how poverty has manifested in Scandinavia throughout history and today. We see ourselves and our wealth as products of that history.
We work for a world where excessive wealth for a few no longer exists. We work for a world where wealth, land, and power are distributed justly. When everyone’s needs are met, We want to collaborate with and strengthen existing grassroots movements to achieve social and economic justice.
We do this through:
Knowledge-sharing. We run public education circles we call Praxis, where we learn about and reflect on the roots of inequality and build our collective capacity to make individual and collective decisions. We meet once a month for six months, with participants encouraged to take part in leading the sessions.

We are not a funding or grant-giving organization, but we encourage our members to support social grassroots movements by distributing their money in response to both urgent and ongoing needs, engaging in movements and demonstrations, and sharing the resources, influence, and power they have access to.
Is Resource Equity Scandinavia for you?
We address you who has access to class privilege, wealth (or expect to inherit or gain access to it in the future), and/or power – and who intend to use these means to work toward a more just world.*
An example of this might be that you:
- That you have never needed to take out a loan or have the possibility to live debt-free.
- Travel abroad annually without it significantly affecting your finances.
- Own your house or apartment thanks in part to inheritance.
- Have an annual income or access to 500,000 DKK or more.
- Have contact with people and networks with financial resources or power.
*Power can, for example, mean influence in business, politics, or other structures where decisions are made.
What is Praxis!?
Praxis is a peer-led educational process that lasts approximately 6 months and consists of 6 meetings of 2-3 hours each. In order to facilitate praxis, it is a prerequisite to have completed a praxis course yourself.
Praxis essentially means that philosophy and theory should not only remain intellectual, but should lead to socially beneficial social justice and change. This can be done by meeting the needs of the participants and inviting the participants to actively participate in the teaching.
Praxis focuses on creating a learning process that empowers the participants and promotes social justice.
About us
Frederik Krups, Ella Hillström, Adriana Bjäringer, and Garbriela Kaplan — a small team of volunteers with class privilege — are behind Resource Equity Scandinavia. The initiative emerged in 2025, inspired by European and American counterparts.
The movement we are part of began with Resource Generation in the United States and has since spread to Europe through our sister organizations: Resource Justice in the United Kingdom and Resource Transformation in the German-speaking part of Europe (DACH – Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).
We are consciously not a copy of our American sister organization, Resource Generation, but work to adapt and root the movement, our resources, and the Praxis program in a Scandinavian context.
